What You Need To Run Viber On PC Using Android Emulator..??
  1. Google Android (Play) Account, which is basically a Google account.
  2. Now Install Android SDK on your PC or Laptop, Follow this link to get the Android SDK for your PC/Laptop.
  3. Now install the Java on your PC/Laptop if it is not installed already, follow this link to get the Java for free.

    Hello,

    I already test that method. I succeded to download Viber.apk to the Android emulator. But when clicking on the downloaded file, after some second I receive the message "application not installed"
    Windows XP pro sp3 - JDK 1.6, ANdroid SDK 4.0.3

    I am facing the exactly same problem as Pat and I am also on Windows XP Pro SP3 and on Android SDK 4.0.3

    It says application not installed.

    I would have appreciate that people who have created blogs on these, if they could have also posted some advise on the most common problems and how to resolve them. Cuz I have checked the web and may people are facing 'application not installed' problem and there is no solution on how to fix this.

    I managed to install whatsApp and use it successfully but I cant get the Viber installed.

    Any advise please?

      Ok, and the answer is yes you can able to use the Viber on Pc without having a cell phone number just get a free number from Google Voice, Whistle Phone, Rebtel or Localphone by registering yourself for free and enter that number in the Viber account and then start using it for free...

      We know that this hac is quite difficult but not impossible if you installed the Emulator successfully then run it and download the Viber.apk from your Emulator and then install it on the emulator its exactly same like Your Android Smartphone, once installed successfully then you will able to use the App on Emulator....

      Viber properly downloaded to my laptop and now i am using like Radio but when I am trying to play games free of charge ,it gave me a message "your request can bot be processed error code 1009"

      Emulator is the part of Android SDK and is used for running the Android apps but you will also able to create your own Android apps using this Android SDK manager....

      If the Viber is not able to install on Android Emulator then try to install BlueStack's app player first and then install Viber on it....

      Just try to shut the BlueSstack's app and then re-start it again and the problem solved, it happens due to the bug in Viber app...

    hi, my bf in usa sanfrancisco don't know how to installed viber in easiest way on his laptop .. another thing is .. isi't can be work out to have call conversation if I used cp and him was laptop .. my phone has a wifi and viber was installed already .. the problem is if possible to call hom ny using his laptop .. thanks

      Hey Raj,

      It not a fault of your PC or The Bluestack app its a fault of your friends Mobile.So kindly tell him/her that they will check their Speaker settings first, and if you want to become satisfy about your MIC compatibility then go to Tools in Bluestacks and check out thee mic settings...

    I had tried to install Viber on Android Emulator. It gives message of "installing" when i click on Viber from download folder. After showing "installing" for about 2 minutes the Emulator gets restarted leaving no application installed. I am using AVD on Windows 7 and named my emulator "my_emulator".

      Viber to Viber calls are absolutely free all around the world.Only the opposite party also use Viber on their Smartphone or on PC..If both you and your opposite party have Viber installed then you should able to talk for free using Viber..
